Aggregates

We quarry our own Lincolnshire limestone from Kirks Quarry at Dunston and are able to offer a wide range of limestone aggregates including clean materials, crushers runs and Aglime.

We are also able to offer a wide range of general materials such as MOT Type 1, decorative aggregates, pipe bedding, sand, topsoil, screened road planings and general fill.

RECYCLING

We are extremely proud to be able to offer the highest quality recycled aggregates such as crushed concrete, BS approved topsoil and washed sand and gravel & ballast.

In 2023 we installed, commissioned and opened our state of the art Construction & Demolition waste wash plant together with water treatment and filter press offering washed 4-10mm, 10-20mm & 20-40mm washed pipe bedding and both fill and sharp sand. All products fully accredited to BS EN 13242.

We recycle all types of inert waste in line with our EA Permit which allows us to offer an extremely competitive service for both supply of materials and muck away

BAGGED AGGREGATES

We have the facility to bag aggregates, we offer recycled gravel, sands, soil and virgin limestone in 850kg bags. These are available for collection or bulk deliveries where offloading facilities are available on site.

KIRKS YARD

Located off Whisby Road, south of Lincoln, our well-established yard is stocked with our own quarried limestone, our own recycled soils and sands, bought in sands, gravels, including an extensive range of decorative gravels.

From domestic landscaping to building construction, our yard is open to trade customers and the public.

We welcome you to come and collect from us using your own vehicle – car and trailer, pick up or van.

We have a manned weighbridge, where all vehicles report to. Here your order will be taken, and the relevant paperwork issued.

Our skilled shovel diver will load your vehicle with the product of your choice, from the automatic weighing shovel. Where your vehicle can not be appropriately loaded via our plant, we can accommodate this with our calibrated weighbridge, however please note you are required to bring
your own shovel.

We offer a permitted tipping facility, where you can dispose of clean inert soil, clean brick rubble/hardcore or bituminous mixture (tarmac) of up to 3 tonnes per visit, subject to our Waste Acceptance Criteria.

HAULAGE

Our transport team have a wealth of knowledge and expertise, putting customers at ease from start to finish. Our fleet of modern 8-wheeler tipper lorries can cater to the material delivery of 20-tonne loads (approx.).

Should you require a smaller delivery up to 9t, this is available on our 4-wheeler grab lorries. Our professional drivers are dedicated to delivering construction materials and muck away of inert soil, concrete and tarmac on time and with minimal impact on your work schedule. We also offer day hire of our lorries, which includes the driver.

REMOVAL

If your construction, building, or demolition project requires inert waste material to be removed, Daniel Charles Aggregates Ltd can provide you with the most cost-effective service and the most efficient method of final disposal.

We can collect your inert waste material from Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.

We operate 2 4-wheeler grab lorries, which make light work of collecting up to 9 tonnes of material, and if your site has the machinery for loading, we can send in our 8 wheels for muck away collection.

We provide a muck away service that adheres to the environment agency guidelines. Giving you the confidence that your site waste is being disposed of in the correct manner.

Our lorries collect clean inert soil, clean brick rubble/ hardcore and bituminous mixture (tarmac).

As well as collecting inert waste for recycling we can also collect non-hazardous and hazardous waste and remove to licensed landfill centres subject to acceptance.

Our driver will not take away loads that do not adhere to these standards. Muck aways are required to meet our Waste Acceptance Criteria. Please contact Transport for a free, no obligation quote.
